How do I schedule a driving lesson?

Scheduling a driving lesson with Car-Diology Driving School is simple and fully online. Once you've passed your DMV written test and obtained your permit, just visit our website and use the Services / Book Lesson tab to choose your preferred date, time, and pickup location. Lessons are available 7 days a week from 9AM to 9PM. After your first session, your instructor will sign your permit so you can begin your required practice hours with a parent or guardian. What do I need before I can start driving lessons?

Before your first driving lesson, you must pass the DMV written test and receive your provisional instruction permit. If you're under 18, you’ll also need to complete a state-approved Driver’s Ed course and bring your certificate to the DMV. Your permit becomes valid only after your first driving lesson is completed and signed by a licensed instructor.

How many lessons do I need to complete?

If you’re under 18, California law requires 6 hours of professional behind-the-wheel training with a licensed school, plus 50 hours of supervised driving with a parent or adult over 25.
