Scheduling a driving lesson with Car-Diology Driving School is simple and fully online. Once you've passed your DMV written test and obtained your permit, just visit our website and use the Book Lesson tab to choose your preferred date, time, and pickup location. Lessons are available 7 days a week from 9AM to 9PM. After your first session, your instructor will sign your permit so you can begin your required practice hours with a parent or guardian. No phone calls or paperwork needed—book in minutes and get on the road with confidence.

Before your first driving lesson, you must pass the DMV written test and receive your provisional instruction permit. If you're under 18, you’ll also need to complete a state-approved Driver’s Ed course and bring your certificate to the DMV. Your permit becomes valid only after your first driving lesson is completed and signed by a licensed instructor.

If you’re under 18, California law requires 6 hours of professional behind-the-wheel training with a licensed school, plus 50 hours of supervised driving with a parent or adult over 25. Car-Diology Driving School provides the 6 hours in three 2-hour sessions, and we’ll issue your Certificate of Completion on your final lesson.

We offer flexible pickup and drop-off for your convenience. Your instructor can meet you at home, school, or work—or you can come to our San Ramon office. Lessons are available every day from 9AM to 9PM in dual-controlled, air-conditioned, and fully insured vehicles.
